1974 Model Perspective

A review of the Dow 2020 – 2024 long term trajectory found that it is similar to what occurred between May 1970 and January 1973, as shown in the charts below. On October 12, 2023, it was noted that a decline structure setup going into the last quarter of 2023 was similar to what occurred in 2018 when interest rates peaked. Now it appears the Dow is moving to a peak and is similar to what occurred during the first week of 1973.
